CityStreet Residential Partners, a Houston-based company specializing in the acquisition and development of multifamily and RV resort real estate, has added a sixth RV resort to its portfolio with the acquisition of Stone Oak Ranch RV Resort at 25101 Ronald Reagan Blvd. in Georgetown. Developed by The Boterra Group with amenities including a clubhouse, pool, fitness center, laundry facilities, playground, dog park, pickleball courts and outside games, the property opened in late 2020 and marks CityStreet’s entry to the Austin area. The property will be rebranded as Jetstream RV Resort – Stone Oak Ranch and expanded with a second phase of 200 RV sites for a total of 424. Other improvements such as a pavilion, beer garden, additional pool, resort style lazy river, outdoor cabana with grills and numerous gathering areas are planned by completion in September 2024. The resort offers long- and short-term rental reservations.

Hogan Thompson Schuelke, a boutique law firm founded by Christopher Hogan with a focus on energy-industry disputes, leased 7,541 square feet at 1001 Fannin to accommodate the firm’s growth. Brad Beasley and Chip Colvill of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, JMB Realty Corp. Joshua Brown and Kaitlyn Duffie of Newmark represented the tenant.

Gorjana, a Laguna Beach-based jewelry brand, will open its second Houston store in the Heights Mercantile market district on Aug. 30 as part of its Texas expansion. The 1,539-square-foot store is at 707 Yale Street, Suite 103. Gorjana made its Houston debut at Montrose Collective last year and will open in Rice Village in 2024.

Fuhgedaboudit Bagel Co. leased 1,872 square feet in Spring Town Center, at FM 2920 and Kuykendahl Road in Spring, for a store to open this fall. Lara Lee LaMendola of NewQuest Properties represented the landlord. Kevin Sims of NewQuest Properties represented the tenant. It will be the second location for Kurt and Roxie Crowley, who opened a flagship store at 6777 Woodlands Parkway in The Woodlands in 2021.

Milano Nails leased 3,850 square feet in Brazos Town Center, at U.S. 59 and FM 762 in Rosenberg, from NewQuest Properties. Austen Baldridge and Bob Conwell of NewQuest Properties represented the landlord. Greg Stackhouse of New Regional Planning represented the tenant.

Sloan/Hall, a lifestyle boutique owned by Marcus Sloan and Shannon Hall, will open a 1,000-square-foot store at Autry Park for its second Houston location this fall. The store will be in the Hanover Parkview midrise apartment building at 3737 Cogdell St, Suite 150. Sloan/Hall started in San Antonio in 1994 as a gift and greeting card store and now includes women’s fashions, jewelry and home objects. Located near Shepherd Drive and Allen Parkway, Autry Park is a 14-acre mixed-use development of the Hanover Co. and Lionstone Investments, in collaboration with place creation company Rebees.

Code Ninjas, a center that teaches kids to code while building their own video games, opened at 9029 Highway 6 in Missouri City. It is the second location along with Friendswood for mother and son duo Parul and Dave Gandhi and Sheela Shukla. The centers focus on building video games, robotics, drones and other activities.

Into Action Recovery Centers, an addiction treatment center specializing in personalized treatment for drug and alcohol abuse, is expanding its campus in the Webster/Clear Lake area. The company announced the opening of a 37-bed Detox and Residential Treatment Center at 17300 Mercury Drive adjacent to its 48-bed facility at 17250 El Camino Real. IARC has acquired nearby 950 Gemini Street to expand services in early 2024.

Rock N Roll Sushi, an American style sushi restaurant with 60 locations across the southeastern U.S., opened a third location in the Houston area location. The new restaurant is at 3607 S. Main Street in Stafford in front of the Promenade subdivision.

Salon Freedom Holdings, an operator of franchised Sola Salons in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Tennessee, has expanded into Texas with the acquisition of nine Sola locations in the Houston market. The locations, which provide space for beauty and wellness professionals to own and operate their own businesses, are in central Houston, Katy, Sugar Land, Pasadena and Clear Lake. With the acquisition, Salon Freedom operates 60 locations.
